Gautam Ganguly, MD

Dr. Ganguly completed his undergraduate school and medical school at the University of Calcutta in India. He also completed his residency in neurology and a fellowship in Epilepsy and Neuromuscular Diseases at USC. Dr. Ganguly is Board certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine, in the subspecialty of Vascular Medicine, the subspecialty of Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry and subspecialty of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Ganguly is the Medical Director of ABC Sleep Center in Montebello and Whittier. Dr. Ganguly is also the Medical Director of the Stroke Program at Beverly Hospital.

Paul C. Helfgott, MD

Dr. Helfgott is a New England native who earned his B.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his M.D. from Boston University. He completed his neurology residency at USC and became Board certified in Neurology in 1984. Dr. Helfgott joined Neurology Consultants Medical Group in 2000.

Emily is very familiar with the Whittier area, having grown up in nearby La Habra. She completed her first undergraduate degree at UC San Diego and then went on for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University Of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Emily earned her Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach in 2015 and is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She worked in the stroke department at PIH Health Whittier for over five years and most recently as the Stroke Coordinator working both through the emergency department and the inpatient units.

Richard A. Rison, MD

Dr. Rison grew up in Long Beach and earned his B.S. from UCLA and his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his residency in neurology and a fellowship in Epilepsy and Neuromuscular Diseases at USC and became Board certified in 2001. He is Board certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine, in the subspecialty of Vascular Medicine and in the subspecialty of Neurocritical Care and Neuroimaging. Dr. Rison is also the Medical Director of the Stroke Center at PIH Health Hospital and has held the position since 2005.
